The Story
Say hello to "Amusant No.1," an original needlepoint artwork by me, Omotola Akinbiyi. This piece marks my venture into exploring various mediums, resulting in a playful and colorful creation. Despite the hours of meticulous work, I found so much joy in the process, earning the piece its fitting name, "Amusant," meaning "fun" in French. I embraced spontaneity while working on this, allowing each stitch to unfold in a truly random and delightful manner, creating a work that exudes a sense of whimsy and artistic exploration.
